The Friends of the JRVLS was established in the fall of 2016 as a group to support our Library, for example:

Assist the James River Valley Library System
-
Increase awareness of the importance of the Library to the community
-
Advocate for the renovation and expansion of the Library
-
Raise funds for the renovation and expansion of the Library
-
Assist in children and adult programming
-
Host fundraising events
-
Promote the digital and traditional diversity of services that the Library offers
